The OPG Enterprises group has over the years gained a strong foothold in the fields of STEEL and ENERGY. OPG energy, which is an ISO-2001 certified company, is a fully owned subsidiary of Kanishk Steel Industries Ltd. OPG Energy has 13 windmills - 11 located in Coimbatore and 2 in the Tirunelveli districts. OPG Metals manufactures billets and ingots, which are used in the steel rolling units.

The group has 18 MW gas-based power plant and 3.535 MW wind power generation turbines in Coimbatore and Tirunelveli districts respectively. The group has manufacturing facilities in Gummidipoondi, Salem and Myladuthurai for billets and ingots. The group is also into logistics and infrastructure related projects.
